On July 24th 2025, Broccoli Country Club had the honor of sponsoring the Second Annual Boneyard Golf Charity Golf Outing at the beautiful Old Oak Country Club in Homer Glen, Illinois.
The event brought together golfers, friends, and community members for a day of competition, camaraderie, and giving back.
The Format
The tournament followed a 4-person scramble format—perfect for keeping the pace fun and competitive while encouraging teamwork. Groups navigated Old Oak’s lush fairways and tricky greens, all while enjoying the lighthearted banter and friendly rivalry that makes outings like this so memorable.
Broccoli Booth
We setup on a par 3 with the goal to discuss what we are doing at Broccoli Country Club, who we are, and most importantly to build our growing community. We brought some of our apparel and headwear to showcase and sell, while we also handed out samples to those interested. Conversation was great and we felt the love. Our main raffle prize was a custom embroidered Broccoli Country Club Jones Sports Co. Trouper 3.0 Golf Bag.
Golf for a Cause
This year’s chosen charity was Martha & Me, an incredible organization dedicated to providing food and clothing to the homeless population. Their mission to meet essential needs with compassion and dignity is something we’re proud to support. Knowing that every swing, putt, and raffle ticket purchased was contributing to such a meaningful cause made the day even more special.
Community & Connection
At Broccoli Country Club, our mission has always been about more than just the game—it’s about building connections, supporting our communities, and creating experiences that bring people together. Sponsoring the Boneyard Golf charity outing was a natural fit. We were inspired by the generosity of everyone involved and the positive energy that carried through the day.
A Huge Thank You
To Tone from Boneyard Golf for hosting an incredible event, to Old Oak Country Club for providing the perfect setting, to Martha & Me for their tireless work in the community, and to every golfer and supporter who came out—you made this day a success. We can’t wait to see how this event continues to grow, and we’re proud to have been part of something that blends the love of golf with the spirit of giving back. We hope to be beck next year!
